Urbasa-Andía Natural Park

Located 50 km from the campsite, following the NA-120 road, is the Urbasa-Andía Natural Park, a mountain range that acts as a natural boundary between the Atlantic and Mediterranean bioclimatic zones.
Here you can walk along popular trails such as the mountaineers’ trail, the shepherds’ trail, or the springs trail. In addition, the park features an interpretation area where you can obtain detailed information about the park.  visit website

In the Urbasa mountain range you will find the famous Urederra Spring, one of the most beautiful and visited landscapes in Navarre. To access it, prior reservation is required, as the area is regulated for conservation purposes. Learn more

Camino de Santiago

The campsite is located at a key point along the Camino de Santiago, specifically between the stages of Puente la Reina and Estella. This is a 22-kilometer stage belonging to the French Way, and it is a highly recommended experience for those wishing to walk part of the Jacobean route. Learn more

Irantzu Monastery

Just 25 minutes by car via the NA-7171 and NA-7320 roads lies the Irantzu Monastery, a Cistercian abbey built between the 12th and 14th centuries. Its Gothic cloister, elegant and austere, is one of the most beautiful corners of the monastic complex. After the visit, you can stroll through the Yerri Valley, a semi-wild natural environment with crystal-clear pools and a path that follows the Iranzu river canyon, at the foot of the Andía mountain range. Estella-Lizarra

Half an hour from the campsite via the NA-7320 road is Estella-Lizarra, a Romanesque city born along the Camino de Santiago. Among its must-see monuments are the Church of San Pedro de la Rúa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Basilica of El Puy, and the Palace of the Kings of Navarre, architectural gems well worth visiting. EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO IN THE CAMPING SITE AND SURROUNDINGS

One of the activities you can try on the Alloz reservoir, on whose shores the campsite sits, is sailing. Whether you want to learn or already know, the services of the Navarra Sailing School, which operates on the reservoir, are at your full disposal.

The campsite has its own jetty, so you can stay at a campsite with all the amenities and enjoy sailing all in the same place. The Sierras of Andía and Urbasa (home to the source of the Urederra river) delimit the mountainous north of Middle Navarra and surround the village of Riezu , the source of the Ubagua river, which flows into the Alloz reservoir. An area with a wealth of natural beauty.

From Puente La Reina (where the routes join) to Estella, the Way of St James marks its historical and artistic significance with beautiful examples of Gothic and Romanesque architecture, such as the Cloister of the Monastery of Iranzu in Abárzuza.

Estella-Lizarra was founded in 1090 due to the need to attend the growing influx of pilgrims from all over Europe on their way to Santiago. Important examples of Romanesque (San Pedro Cloister in the Church of San Pedro) Gothic (façade of El Santo Sepulcro, Convent of Santo Domingo) and Plateresque architecture enrich a remarkably cultural city.

Middle Navarra is the home of great wine and tasty, varied cuisine, based on local products.
